KRACUS, Patricia Ann “Pat”, age 75, of Xenia, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. Pat was born on September 2, 1946 in Dayton, OH to the late William and Mary (Behr) Hopkins. She graduated from Julianne High School in 1964. Pat was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, a small Christian Community at St. Francis, and Eucharistic Minister who taught CCD classes at St. Brigid, Xenia. She was a faithful, kind, loving, considerate and generous wife, mother, and friend. Pat was a master gardener and loved visiting the Outer Banks in NC.
She was preceded in death by her first-born son, Christopher; grandson, Isaac Kracus; sister, Tanya Hood; nephew, James Hood; and niece, Heidi Hood.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jim Kracus; children, Steve (Julie) Kracus, Deborah Kracus, Kathy (Les Bellows) Kracus, James Kracus; grandchildren, Kaitlin Wagers, Jordan Kracus, Rachel Kracus, Emily (Brandon McElwee) Kracus, Patrick (Kim) Kracus, Olivia Kracus, Ethan Kracus, Ava Kracus; great-grandchildren, Kailynne, Rose, Jaxon, Dax; beloved dog, Hannah. The family wishes to thank Jim, for the excellent physical therapy and inspiration he provided Pat. They would also like to thank Jackie, the staff at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, and longtime friend, Nancy Hayes.
Family will greet friends 9-10AM on Friday, October 8 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E STROOP RD, KETTERING. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton.
