Patricia Ann Pihera

PIHERA, Patricia Ann, "Pat", age 77 of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born August 30, 1934 in Piqua, Ohio to Marcellus and Ruth (Carder) Dunn. Pat attended Sinclair Community College. On August 22, 1954 Pat married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence "Larry" Pihera and they shared 58 wonderful years together. Pat loved the two years they lived in Hawaii while Larry was serving in the military. She enjoyed her many travels with her family, especially to Paris which was her favorite city. She was a great cook, a wonderful gardener and a creative seamstress with a passion for sewing. Pat never missed her monthly lunch date with her girlfriends. She was a very loving, thoughtful and giving wife, mother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her son, Scott Pihera in 1979. Pat is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Pihera; daughter, Lauren (Steve) Kennedy; grandchildren, Alaura, Lawrence and Stephanie; sister, Judy (Don) Dunn; brother, John (Shirley) Dunn; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 3:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N Main St., Centerville, OH. Family will greet friends following the service till 5:30pm.
