Patricia Rose Wampler

WAMPLER, Patricia Rose, age 78, of Bellbrook, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015. She was born June 17, 1937 to the late Horace and Louise Cochran. She attended St. Joseph's Commercial high school, and worked as an office manager at Omega Oil for 24 years and Henkle Schueler for 16 years. Patricia loved cruises, gardening, tennis, collecting Santas and spoiling her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Cochran. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Ron Wampler; sons, Doug (Mindy), Dan (Lisa) and Don (Stacey); sisters, Roberta Emerson, Louise Free and Jane Hughes; grandchildren, Abbey Willis, Danielle Culbertson, Brendan, Alissa, Justin, Ryan and Sarah Wampler; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Culbertson and Chase Willis. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, with prayers at 5:00pm. A second visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, with a burial following at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Dr, Dayton, OH 45458 or to the Strategic Initiative Fund at the James, The Ohio State University Foundation, 1480 West Lane, Columbus, OH 43221.
