Patrick Aloysius Lowry

LOWRY, Patrick Aloysius, age 80, of Oakwood passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012. He was born on February 13, 1932 in Dayton, OH to Robert and Catherine Lowry. Patrick served our country in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. He began his career with Greene and Ladd and retired in 2007 after 42 years in the brokerage business. Patrick was a Past President of the Dayton Lions Club, Alter High School Booster Association and a member of Ducks Unlimited. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Preceded in death by his parents and three brothers [Robert, Richard, and Dennis]. Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce Arlene Lowry (nee Snead); children, Elizabeth Pearn [James], Ann Yoss [Charles], Patrick Lowry, and Karen Lowry; and grandchildren, Caitlin Pearn, Elizabeth Yoss, Sean Lowry, Emma Pearn, and Juliana Yoss. Family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Holy Angels Parish, 1322 Brown St., Dayton. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations to Hospice of Dayton or Chaminade Julienne Performing Arts. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
