Paul K. Leonard

LEONARD, Paul K., age 65, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. Paul was born October 19, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio; the son of the late Paul F. and Miriam A. Leonard Berkshire. Paul worked for Dimco Gray for over 40 years until his retirement. After retiring, he began working for Oakley Tool and Die as well as owning and operating Paul's Home Inspections. He was well sought after for his home inspections as he loved his job and made sure every home was accounted for. Paul attended Calvary Grace Brethren Church of Kettering for many years and sang in the men’s choir group. In his free time, Paul loved to play his guitar, go antique shopping, wood working, and camp and fish in Indiana. He was known for being a lovable jokester and would always put a smile on your face-he will be forever remembered for his dad jokes. What Paul loved most was his family. He was a family man and always showed his love to his daughters, especially his granddaughter. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his in-laws, Thelma and Presley Reeder and niece, Julia Greenwood. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Denise (Reeder) Leonard; daughters, Cris and Nik Leonard; granddaughter, Casie (Victor) Rubio; siblings, Tim Leonard, Susan (Denny) Mathes, Jayne Luedeke, David (Lesa) Leonard, and Jon Leonard; sister-in-law, Darlene (Ron Curry) and many extended family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 1 PM at the Calvary Grace Brethren Church of Kettering, 2850 E Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH 45420 with Pastor Mark Combs officiating. Family and friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of service. Paul will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park. Fond memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.routsong.com.
