McFALL, Paul N., D.D.S., age 91, of Washington Township, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Paul was born on September, 4, 1926, in Dayton, OH, to Dana and Doris (nee Haas) McFall.
Paul went on to serve in the Navy during WWII aboard the U.S.S General John C. Breckinridge. He attended Oberlin College while in the Navy. Paul went on to graduate from the University of Dayton and The Ohio State University with a degree in Dentistry. Paul practiced Dentistry for 42 years in Kettering in his office on Far Hills Ave.
He was passionate about music, and played the trombone for the Docs of Dixieland. The Docs played all over the Midwest, presented at Memorial Hall in Dayton, and even made several TV appearances on The Tonight Show, the Ive Got a Secret Show, and Whats My Line. He was greatly loved by his family and will be missed by all that knew him.
Paul is preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Vivian (nee Espy) McFall. Paul is survived by his son, Scott (Jennifer) McFall; daughters, Heather (Dan) Hoodin and Paula (Kenny) Miller; grandsons, Travis McFall, Aaron Hoodin, and Derek Hoodin; and numerous other extended family.
A visitation will be held from 11-12pm on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home Centerville, 81 N. Main St. 45429, with a service to follow. Burial at Davids Cemetery.
