Peggy Jacobs

JACOBS, Peggy of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2016 at age 83. Born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 2, 1933 to parents Sidney D. Van Winkle and Elizabeth (Streamas), Peggy is survived by her son, William T. Jacobs, and by her sisters, Ellie Kane and Grace Clark. She is recently preceded in death by her loving husband, William R. Jacobs, her daughter, Susan L. McHone, and her other "little boy," an English Bulldog named Mack. She was truly a loving mother, wife, and daughter, as well as a true friend to many. She loved creating pieces for holiday craft fairs, flower gardening, collecting (many, many) dolls, and baking incredibly delicious and beautiful holiday cookies for family and special friends. Though she has departed this earthly realm, her loving spirit lives on within all those that she touched. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, May 9 at Christ Church United Methodist, 3440 Shroyer Rd, Kettering, OH 45429, Rev. Alan Carroll officiating. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's honor to the "Christ Church Building Fund" at the address above. Christ Church was very much her home, filled with a family of dear and close friends.
