Phe Van Tran

TRAN, Phe Van, age, age 64, of Sugarcreek Twp. passed away Sunday June 19, 2011. He brought his family to the United States after the Vietnam War where he was a member of the Vietnamese Army fighting along side the US. Phe's route to the United States included the Philippines, Chicago, Savannah, Gulfport, Austin, then later Dayton. He worked as the captain of a fishing boat in Gulfport, MS. Phe also enjoyed playing volleyball, walking and spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; Ngo and Khuya Tran, daughter; Khung Tran. Mr. Tran is survived by his wife of 47 years, Le Tran , daughters Ann (Rick) Kolmin, Thuy Murphy, and Loan Tran, grandchildren; Thao and Tracy Tran, Hieu Vo, Neco and Jada Murphy, Cheyenne and Mia Stevens, sisters; Muoi Tran and Giu (Linh) Tran and their three children, brothers; Thu Tran, Chin (Binh) Tran and Muoi (Hien) Tran, nieces and nephews; Chris and Danny Tran, Hien (Evan) Hong, Ethan Hong, Karen (David) Efferson, Haley Efferson, Katie (Jason) Reeves, Hudson Reeves, Casey and Calvin Tran.
