Philip Anderson Holmes

HOLMES, Philip, Anderson, “Andy”, age 20, of Oakwood passed away Saturday, August 30, 2003. Andy was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Oakwood High School, 2001, a member of the Oakwood football team and was a student at the University of Dayton. Survived by his mother, Nancy (Dale) Lakes of Oakwood; father, Dick Holmes of Oakwood; 2 brothers, Chris and Bob Holmes; step-brother, John Lakes; step-sister, Kathleen Lakes all of Oakwood. Grandparents, Walt and Gerry McLaren of Kettering and Bob and Ardie Holmes of Oakwood; 2 aunts, Sue (Jim) Milam and Meg Holmes; uncle, Walt (Tracy) McLaren; and several cousins. A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 12:00 noon at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4-7:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Andy’s name to the Oakwood School Education Foundation, 20 Rubicon Rd., Oakwood, OH 45409.
