(Rogers), age 82, of Centerville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2002. She was a graduate of Steel High School and Miami Valley School of Nursing. Phyllis was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church, PEO Chapter AN, Progressive Women's Club, Dayton Woman's Club and Little Garden Club. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Artie (Lippencott) Rogers and a sister, Betty (Rogers) Wolfe. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Gray; daughter, Nancy Caples of San Antonio, TX; son, John Gray of Dayton; brother, Robert Rogers of Clearwater, FL; grandson, Brian Caples; and several nieces and a nephew. She was a very devoted homemaker and loving wife. Funeral services will be at 11:00 PM, Thursday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving, Oakwood, with Dr. Richard Bausman officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 111 W.
