Ramona Jeanne Steeley

STEELEY, Ramona Jeanne (Rigg) age 82, of Kettering, Ohio departed from her earthly life on Monday, May 30, 2011. She entered her earthly life in Dayton, Ohio on August 21, 1928, the daughter of (now departed) Ralph Steven Rigg and Adda Kathryn (Bilger) Rigg. Preceded in death by her husband MONTFORT SLOYER STEELEY. They were married August 21, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law William Joseph and Anne Catherine Steeley of Fremont, California and their two children; David Michael and Christina Lynn. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lee Anna and Stephen Russel McMasters of Westerville, Ohio and their three children; Brian Patrick, Scott Andrew and Mark William; and several great grandchildren she dearly loved. She is also survived by her brother Ralph R. Rigg of Miami Township, Ohio. She graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, Ohio (class of 1946). She reared her two children and saw them both graduated from Fairmont West High School. After attending many years of night school, in 1968 she returned to work to help send her children to college. Her son became a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer and her daughter became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for twenty-two and on half years for the Montgomery County Juvenile and Adult Court Systems in many significant capacities. She retired in 1988 to further enjoy life and share more time with her loved ones. She was a confirmed member of Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, 5550 Munger Rd., Centerville. Visitation will be Friday, from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 West National Road, New Carlisle, OH 45344 (Route 40, one mile West of Donnelsville).
