JOHNSTON, Raymond A., “Ray” age 76, of Centerville passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. Ray was a longtime member of The Church of The Incarnation and the Knights of Columbus. He was a 1956 graduate of the University of Dayton. Ray served with the United States Army Infantry during the Korean War and was retired from DP&L and was currently associated with Routsong Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Johnston. Ray is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marilyn Johnston; daughter, Jennifer (David) Poole of Charleston, SC; brother, Thomas Johnston of Xenia; sisters, Mary Eleanor Good of Kettering, Marjorie Wiechers of Kettering and Dorothy Elmore of Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 27, 2006 at 12:00 noon at The Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, with Father Lawrence Mierenfeld officiating. In memory of Ray, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 40 S. Perry St. Ste. 120, Dayton, OH 45402-1429. Condolences may be sent to the family via the website at www.routsong.com.
