Raymond E. Stark

STARK, Raymond E., “Sonny” age 73, of Kettering passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Ray was born October 30, 1931 to Raymond C. and Fern Stark. He was a graduate of Ohio University, member of Phi Kappa PSI Chapter Fraternity and had served in the United States Army in Korea. Ray was a longtime member of the Church of the Ascension. He retired from Grange Insurance Company as a Claims Investigator. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Fern Stark and brother, John. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jettie Stark; daughter, Julie (Steve) Janning; grandson, Austin and granddaughter, Laurin Janning of Springboro; sons, Chris (Michele) and Joseph Stark and stepson, Chris of Greenville; daughter, Cindy (Anton) Loon; grandson, Jack and granddaughter, Emme Loon of Blue Ash, OH; sister, Barbara Herlihy, brother, David Stark both of Chillicothe and many loved nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 11, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive. Burial in St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Chillicothe. Family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
