Regina Pierce Cretcher

CRETCHER, Regina Pierce, age 87, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010. Regina was born December 22, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Sweeney. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 24 years George H. Pierce, her second husband of 16 years Donald Cretcher, two sisters Katherine Boehme of Clearwater, Florida; Rosella Flowers of Oakmont, Pa.; one brother Howard Sweeney of Pittsburgh, Pa. Survivors include her four daughters Barbara (John) Magill; Sue (David) Zickefoose; Kathy (Rob) Berry and Debbie (James) Muntz; along with two sons Jim Pierce and Bob Pierce. Four stepchildren Charles and Diane Cretcher, Gary and Laura Cretcher; David and Elise Cretcher; Jim and Judy Cretcher. 11 grandchildren, Amy Yost, Dougherty Jason Himebaugh, Dave Zickefoose, Dirk Himebaugh, Brenden Berry, Chelsie Berry, Tyler Berry, Brogan Berry, Kylie Muntz, Kassidy Muntz and Kloe Muntz. Six great grandchildren: Phillip Yost, Colin Yost, Aubrey Yost, Kelsey Yost, Maren Zickefoose and Jack Zickefoose. Three special friends Sharon Morris, Kathleen Newton and Agnes Laux. Regina was a long time resident at St. Leonard's Community and member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She was President of Widow and Widowers of Kettering; President of Dayton Catholic Women's Club, Member of VFW, Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Member of Square Dancers, Member of Keenagers of St. Francis. Family and Friends may call from 9:00am to 10:30am on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish located at 6245 Wilmington Pike, Kettering, Ohio followed by Mass of Christian burial at St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
