Rev. Charles F. Ruth

RUTH, Rev. Charles F., age 77, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005. Charles was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and presently active at Friendship Village Chapel. He served as a minister in Dayton and The Ohio West Conference of the United Methodist Church for over 45 years. Charles was a member of the Ministers Choir of The Ohio West United Methodist Conference. He was also a member of The Downtown Dayton Lions Club. Charles supported various missions in the United States and abroad. Preceded in death by his first wife in 1987, Yvonne. Survived by his wife, Nancy Ruth; step-daughter, Sue (Ron) Bush; granddaughter, Rhonda Bush; and many numerous friends. He was known for his kind, gentle, and often humorous nature. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Friendship Village Chapel, 5790 Denlinger Rd., Dayton, with Rev. David E. Snowdon officiating.
