Rev. William I. Graham

GRAHAM, Rev. William I. "Bill", age 83 of Centerville, passed away at Heartland of Centerville on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. He was born in Ponte Nova, Bahia, Brazil to S. Irvine and Ruth (Wyant) Graham. Bill proudly served his country in the US Navy. He received a bachelor's degree from Tarkio College; attended Monmouth College and graduated from Pittsburgh-Xenia Theological Seminary in 1953. Bill also attended New College School of Divinity in Edinburgh, Scotland. He served as pastor for Presbyterian churches in the Miami Presbytery from 1954 until he retired in 1987. Bill was honored as the Pastor Emeritus of Corinth Presbyterian Church in Dayton on October 18, 1992. He was a dedicated family man who loved gardening and grew wonderful vegetables and flowers. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathryn (Ledbetter) Coe; daughter, Susan Graham of Centerville; son, Mark (Chris) Graham of Ponce Inlet, FL; step-daughter, Karen Coe (Jim) Stine of Maineville, OH; step-sons, Stephen (Lisa) Coe of Beavercreek and Michael Coe of Kettering; grandchildren, Olivia and Scarlet Coe and Matthew Stine; brothers, Jim (Martha) Graham of Sierra Vista, AZ, Robert (Stella) Graham of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada and Stanley Graham of Minneapolis, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation will take place on May 20, 2011 from 5:00-8:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 45429. A memorial service will be held on May 21, 2011 at 10:30AM at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Road, Dayton, OH 45440. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Road, Dayton, OH 45440; Presbytery of the Miami Valley, 1541 S.
