age 78, of Washington Twp., passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. Rex was owner and operator of Rubicon Barber Shop in Dayton. He served as a Corporal in the Army during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post #9927. Preceded in death in January, 2003, by his twin brother, Joe Parham. Survived by his loving wife, Myrtle Parham (Presley); 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary (Tonya) Parham of Beavercreek and Roger Parham of Houston, TX; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Donna (Harry) Robertson of Coeur d’Alene, ID; step-daughter and her husband, Pandy (Mike) Boos and step-son and wife, Greg (Patty) Presley, all of Beavercreek; 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; and one sister, Amanda Moran of Lebanon, TN. Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 15, 2003 at 11:00 AM, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Pastor Jim Furtell. Burial in the Veteran’s Administration National Cemetery, Dayton. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-9:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to National Kidney Foundation of Ohio, 1373 Grandview Ave., Ste. 200, Columbus, OH 43212, or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
