FORTH, Richard "Dick" Austin, age 82, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was born on October 8, 1930 in Dayton, OH to the late Carl Leroy and Mary Grace Forth.
Dick graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1948 and attended Business College, after which he worked as a driver for the Troy Pearl Laundry which he eventually owned along with several other small businesses.
Dick was a veteran of the Korean War. He was also an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, scuba diving and was an avid trap shooter and excellent marksman. Dick was a private pilot who traveled extensively. He loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Dick will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Freda and brothers Robert and Raymond. Dick is survived by his children, Lisa R. Forth of Kettering and Richard C. (Teresa) Forth of Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton and Hospice of Dayton.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. Family will greet friends following the service until 7:00pm.
