Richard E. Mccaffrey

McCAFFREY, Richard E. Sr., Age 79, formerly of Riverside, passed away on May 4, 2018. Richard was born in Toledo, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Luella (Dalling) McCaffrey and his wife of 60 years Janet. His family includes his son, Richard (Lisa) McCaffrey, Jr. of Kettering; daughter, Julie McCaffrey of Xenia; three grandchildren, Jessica McCaffrey, Hayley (Jamey) Dailey and Elijah Redman; five great-grandchildren, Breanna, James, Jayda, Aeriana, and Isabella and many nieces and nephews. Richard and Janet were the owners of McCaffrey Jewelers in downtown Dayton 1972 - 2000. Richard was a Wright State University Anatomical Gift Program Donor. Richard will forever be remembered for his legendary adventures. A memorial gathering will be held at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1 - 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Association, 55 W.
