Richard Lee Atherton

age 65 of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2002. He was the Founder/Owner of Atherton Plumbing, a Kettering business of 44 years. He was a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #13 F&AM. Dick's hobbies included car and motorcycle racing and his yellow Labrador, 'Breezy'. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jerry Lou Atherton; 2 sons, Jerome D. and his wife Patty Atherton of MN and Jeff A. and his wife Angel Atherton of Dayton; 2 daughters, Debbie and her husband Garrick Webb of Dayton and Linda Sue Kolher of FL; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, Katie, Todd, Richard, Kelly, Molly, Kristen, Greg, Alex and Jessie; brothers and sisters, Reggie and his wife Karen Atherton of Loveland, CO., Carol Ann Atherton of Omaha, NE, Joyce and her husband Jim Litchfield of Fort Collins, CO. and Debbie Atherton of Dayton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Roger Dale McCloud officiating.
