MILLER, Richard Prugh, age 87, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2005. Born in 1918 in Centerville, Ohio, to Lucille (Andrews) and Alan T. Miller. Dick was a descendant of the Miller/Andrew/Prugh founding fathers of Centerville and Washington Township. Dick was a former Centerville City Councilman, a founding member of the Centerville Washington Township Baseball League and a Washington Township Volunteer Fireman. He served in WWII with the Army Air Corps, 33rd Fighter Squadron. Dick was retired from General Motors and was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church, the Masons, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan. Dick was preceded in death by his son, Richard Alan Miller in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret (Simpson) Miller, daughter, Linda (William) Bruner, granddaughters, Allison and Stephanie Bruner of Centerville, and Lisa (Scott) Clark of Michigan. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Susan Miller of Bellbrook, grandson, David (Hollee) Raynor of Centerville and granddaughter, Laura Willoughby of Baltimore, MD. Dick is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends. Services will be held at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 North Main St., Centerville, Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Ashburn officiating. Burial in Centerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centerville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 63 E.
