Richard R Lackey

LACKEY, Richard R., age 74 of Kettering, OH., passed away Wednesday, January 06, 2010. Richard graduated from Wilbur Wright high school in 1953 and served in the US Army from 1955-1958 as an army engineer. He worked at Dayton Press for 28 years and then for the Kettering School System for 10 yrs. Richard is a long time member of Christ UMC in Kettering. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard L. and Ruth E. Lackey and sister Barbara Baxter. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 yrs., Suzane R. Lackey; sons Daniel B. Lackey of Kettering and John D. (Karen) Lackey of New Albany; 7 grandchildren Dara and Brent Lackey of Kettering, Maria, Katie and Nathan Lackey of New Albany, Charity and Hope Lackey of Maryville, TN. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10:00AM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering OH. Family will greet friends on Friday, from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
