PRATT, Richard "Dick", age 83, of Kettering passed away Thursday, March 03, 2011. He was a "3R" letterman and graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1945. Dick served our country in the Army during the Korean War. His success in the food industry began as a co-owner of Ankney Food Service and later as a partner in Jed's Steak & Ribs of Dayton. He was a member of Country Club of the North and formerly Sycamore Creek Country Club. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joan; three children, Dr. Raymond "Sam" (Cynthia) Pratt of Beavercreek, Sue Pratt of Dayton, and Cathy (Dan) Leary of Kettering; one granddaughter, Abby Leary; and two sisters, Mary Shelley of Centerville and Jean (Frank) Roepken of Centerville. The family would like to give special thanks to Twilette, Debbie, Chantal, and Tracy for their care over the years. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 45429. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Hubbard House in care of Orlando Health Foundation, 1414 Kuhl Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32806-2093 or a charity of your choice.
