Robert Allan Pugel

PUGEL, Robert Allan, age 62 of Beavercreek, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011. Bob graduated from St. Joseph High School and earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1972. He worked as a District office Construction Engineer and Field Engineer for the Ohio Dept. of Transportation for over 36 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 598, Kettering; the National Society of Professional Engineers; and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers. Bob was a huge NASCAR fan with a great passion for all things related to racing cars. He loved to travel to Disney World and Longboat Key, Florida with his family. Preceeded in death by grandparents, Frank and Victoria Klemencic and John and Anna Pugel. Bob is survived by his wife, India Pugel (nee Clark); daughter, Rebecca (Joe) Mears; grandchildren, Josh and Rachel Mears; parents, Henry and Lillian Pugel; devoted aunt, Amy Klemencic; brothers, Ron (Jill) Pugel and Rich (Laura) Pugel; mother-in-law, Betty Clark; his loyal cat of 16 yrs "Sassy", and "B.J." the dog. The family respectfully omits visiting hours and services.
