age 91, of Hendersonville NC, died Saturday, March 24, 2001 at the Carolina Village Medical Center. Born August 11, 1909, in Pueblo CO, to the late William John and Edith Kendrick Prosser. A 1933 graduate of the University of Colorado, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, Mr. Prosser resided in Dayton from 1952-1975 where he served as Vice President of the Duriron Company, Inc. and President of Duriron, Canada. He was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, the George L. Marshall Lodge F. & A.M. #734, the Kiwanis Club of Dayton and the Dayton Country Club. He was a past board member of Community Development and of Carolina Village. He was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church of Hendersonville, the Hendersonville Country Club and the Oasis Shrine Temple. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Turner Prosser, who died November 2, 2000. Survived by 2 daughters, Susan Huber and her husband, James of The Villages FL and Susan Ison Prosser Jones of Ann Arbor MI; 4 grandchildren, Peter H. Huber, James C. Huber, Allison C. Jones and Robert E. Jones; and 2 great grandchildren, Cameron R. Freeman and Daniel James Huber. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, in Woodland Mausoleum Chapel, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton, with Rev. David Bickett officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. The family is being served by Routsong Funeral Home.
