Robert "Bob" Beck, Sr.

BECK, Robert B. age 88, of Washington Township, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Robert was a Lieutenant in the First Cavalry during the Korean War. He was a member of Alpha Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, York Rite Masonry, Antioch Shrine, Dayton-Victory Chapter OES, past president of the Kettering-Oakwood Exchange Club and past director of the Legion of Honor. Robert was also an elder at Central Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Miriam R. Beck; daughters, Lisa (Richard) Moore of Fairborn, OH and Robyn (Robert) Rivers; son, Robert (Pamela) Beck, Jr. of Centerville, OH; grandchildren, Maj. Mitchell (Marylee) Moore USMC, Michael (Kimberly) Moore, and Melissa (Andy) Hartwell and Tessa, Kenneth and Emma Beck and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Garrett, Evelyn, Harrison and Charlotte. Family will greet friends from 4:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Central Presbyterian Church, 4699 Lamme Rd. Moraine, OH 45439. Burial in David's Cemetery. In memory of Robert, donations may be made to Shriner's Burn Hospital, 3229 Burnet Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45229.
