Robert (Bob) Kuntz

KUNTZ Robert (Bob), age 92, of Dayton passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. Bob was a lifelong member of Shiloh United Church of Christ. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1933 and from General Motors Institute in Detroit. Bob was self-employed as a salesman in Industrial tools and machines and was the owner of J.R. Kuntz Company for over 35 years. Bob was a member of the Miami Valley Golf Club since 1953, a life long magician, an avid Dayton Historian and co-founder of the Golf Collectors Society in 1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherine Kuntz, wife, Glendola, brother, Richard Kuntz and sister, Dorothy Smelker. Bob is survived by his daughter Karen (Tom) Kuhl of Kettering; son, Dennis Kuntz of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Matt and Allison Kuntz and special brother-in-law, Tom Gillaugh and family of Dayton. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Carl Robinson officiating.
