age 72 of Kettering, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000 at Heartland of Beavercreek. He was a lifelong Kettering area resident and was a sports enthusiast, coaching several school sports. Robert attended Chaminade High School, Fairmont High School, Sinclair Community College and worked for the State of Ohio and United Way. Preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Ring. Survived by his mother, Delpha Ring of Kettering; a sister, Delpha (Bender) Oswald of Kettering and Costa Mesa, CA; 2 brothers, Charles of Kelso, WA and Stanley of Los Angeles, CA; a niece, Karen Bender Schimmel of Cambridge, OH; a nephew, William (Bill) Bender of Jamestown; several other nieces and nephews in Washington and California; and many good, lifetime friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday in St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering with Fr. Gary Aultz officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
