Robert Christopher Creighton

CREIGHTON, Robert Christopher, age 91, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012. Robert graduated from Lowell High School, San Francisco, CA, received his B.A. in Political Science from University of California, Berkeley and his masters degree in Business and Political Science from USC. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and then began working for the Health Dept. in Long Beach, CA. Robert was promoted to the Budget Dept., then promoted the Executive Assistant to the City Manager and retired as Asst. City Manager. In his leisure, he enjoyed reading, golf, traveling, singing, history, the Fourth of July and especially his Lincoln! Robert loved his family and never knew a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Norene Creighton. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Patricia; daughters Kathleen (Laurence) Simpson and Karen (Daniel) Yada; grandchildren, James Simpson, Kristin (Jeffrey) Seaman, Mark Yada and Robert Yada.
