KLAN, Robert “Bob”, age 73, of Waynesville, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton, after a brief illness. He received his B.S. degree from Mount Union College. Bob was a veteran of the USAF serving from 1951-1956. He was the former owner of CDCI and Stagline Casino Resort / and current owner of Color Q. Bob was an artifact collector and was a golden glove boxer. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Josephine Klan; sisters, Shirley Galieti and Mary Klan; brother, Don Klan. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jane; son, Rob (Sherry) Klan; son, Frank (Barb) Klan; daughter, Tammy (Bo) Schmidtke, all of Waynesville; brothers, Charles (Doreen) Klan, James (Lana) Klan, Richard (Nancy) Klan; sisters, Joan Rastani and Ellie Blume; sister-in-law, Brenda Klan and brother-in-law, Cam Galieti; grandchildren, Nathan (Jessie) Swift, Michael and Jessie Klan, Nikkol Ferguson and her children, Javon and Shaiann. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Burial in Miami Cemetery, Waynesville at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 27, 2006, with Father Raymond Kammerer officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
