Robert Edward Batsche, Jr.

age 44, of Belleville, IL, beloved husband, father, son, and grandfather, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Bob was a Communications Systems technician and served at Air Force bases in Texas, Mississippi, Indiana, Germany, United Kingdom and finally at Scott AFB in Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Jason, Melissa, James, Renee and Kim; 4 grandchildren,Tyler, Devin, Courtney and Dustin; father and mother, Robert and Betty Batsche; 4 sisters and brother-in-laws, Chris and Sam Mauro, Laura and Rick Hogue, Linda and James Winship and Teresa and Steve Lewis; grandmother, Marie Conklin; 4 nieces and 1 nephew, Ashley, Kaitlin, Samantha, Christina and Trevor; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd, Kettering. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
