Robert Eldridge Pruett

PRUETT, Robert “Bob” Eldridge age 69, of Washington Township passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007. Bob received his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame University; his graduate degree from Northern Illinois and his PhD from Bowling Green University. He taught at the University of Georgia and retired after 29 years of service from Wright State University. Bob was a member of the Church of the Incarnation, the Notre Dame Alumni Board, the Sycamore Creek Country Club and the Cubby Hole ROTC. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane Pruett and parents, Vance and Mae Pruett. Bob is survived by his daughter, Barbara Kinsella of Washington Township and son, Will Pruett of Dayton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Burial in David’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wright State University Department of Communication Scholarship Fund in the name of Dr. Robert E. Pruett, 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy., Dayton, OH 45435.
