Robert Eugene Miller

MILLER, Robert E., “Bob” age 79 of Centerville passed away Friday, October 5, 2007 at Kettering Medical Center. Bob was a lifelong member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church. He was a 1945 graduate of Fairmont High School and received his BS in Engineering from Cornell University. Bob was an engineer, developer and realtor. He owned Cornell Builders, Centerville Commercial Park Inc., Woodman Stop & Lock and Robert E. Miller Realty. Bob was a member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors, Homebuilders Association , Dayton Engineers Club, Dayton Ski Club, and the Dayton, Kettering and Centerville Chamber of Commerce. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble R. and Ada B. Miller and son, Daniel Robert Miller. Bob is survived by his sons, Steven R. (Patricia) Miller of Mt. Gilead and Scott A. (Debra) Miller of Waynesville; daughter, Kim A (Bob) Carson of Park City, UT; 10 grandchildren; Joshua, Naomi, Catherine, Michael, Ryan, Clinton, Amy, Cheyenne, Jenny and Scott, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Rodney (Phyllis) Miller of Centerville, Richard (Pauline) Miller of Greenville, NH daughter-in-law, Tammy Miller of Lebanon and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave. at 10:00 AM with Rev. Molly Jones officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bob to Kettering Medical Center c/o S.I.C.U. 3535 Southern Blvd. Kettering, OH 45429.
