Robert G Meyer

MEYER, Robert “Bob” G. 72, of Dayton, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 13, 2006. A graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Over the years Bob worked for Delco Products, NCR Corporation, Outdoor Sports Headquarters, and retired as CFO from the Iams Company in 1995. He was a member of St. Albert the Great since 1959 where he served on the Welcoming Committee. Bob was also a member of NCR Country Club, and the Financial Executives Institute. He was preceded in death by his parents Marjorie (Kettman) and George Meyer, and his daughter, Catherine. Bob is survived by his wife, Gerry, and daughters, Susan (Bill) Whalen of Spring Valley, OH; Jeanette (Thom) Fladung of St. Paul, MN; Jane (Morgan) McChesney of Morgan Hill, CA, and 10 grandchildren: Adam and Colleen Whalen; Kayleigh and Jimmy Fladung; Robert, Catherine, Michael, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Jessica McChesney, and 2 sisters, Jane Wright and Margie Kyte both of Cincinnati, OH. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at 12:00 noon at St. Albert the Great. Family will receive friends at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville on Tuesday, October 17, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association Scholarship Fund, 322 Meadowgrove Dr., Englewood, Ohio, 45322.
