Robert L. Fisher

FISHER, Robert L., age 90, of Kettering passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Robert was born on December 22, 1925 in Butler, IN to his beloved parents, Olis and Hilda Fisher. He graduated from Ball State Teacher's College in Muncie, IN in 1948. Robert taught 7 years in New Madison, OH in Darke County. His teaching career ended with 23 years at Van Buren Junior High in Kettering in 1978. At One Lincoln Park, he was active on various committees and served as treasurer and finally vice-president. Robert loved the arts and he was an accomplished landscape painter. Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Allen B. Fisher. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Fisher of Auburn, IN. A funeral service will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial in Butler Cemetery in Butler, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ball State University, Robert L. Fisher Scholarship Fund, 2000 W. University Ave., Muncie, IN 47306. A special thank you to Lincoln Park Manor.
