Robert N. Clark

age 82, of Vero Beach, FL (formerly of Kettering), passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at Kettering Medical Center. Bob was a founding member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1941. Bob was a custom homebuilder and land developer in the Kettering area, the owner and president of the Robert N. Clark Construction Company and a partner in the Clark-Greimann Development Corporation. He was an active member in the Dayton Home Builders Association and the Kettering Planning Commission. His accomplishments included the development of Marinole Park and the
Gleneagles subdivisions in Kettering. Bob was also a member of Aberdeen Lodge #38 F& AM, AASR, a past member of Dayton County Club and was a current member of Vista Meadows Golf Club in Vero Beach, FL. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was the first pilot to test an army helicopter. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jean Clark. Survived by 3 daughters, Judith L. (Ralph) Violette of Ft. Wayne, IN, Pamela S. (Bill) Schindler of Dayton and Laurel A. (Ron) Wilms of Macedonia, OH; 4 grandchildren, Andrew (Thuy), Stephanie Violette, Christopher C. (Angie) Wilms and Brett C. Wilms; 2 great grandchildren, Ethan and Olivia Violette; and sister; Janet (Bob) Garrison of CA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003, at 10:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
