DOBELEIT, Robert O., "Bob," age 81, of Oakwood, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009. He was born in Dayton, OH and attended Kiser High School and Dearborn Vocational School. Bob served in the U S Navy in World War II onboard the Antitiem Air Carrier. Bob was employed as a model maker at NCR for 29 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Dayton Lodge, AASR Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine and American Legion Post 598. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Renata Legant Dobeleit. Bob is survived by his wife, Doris, whom he married in 1949; his son, Martin (Karen) Dobeleit; his daughter Roxane (Tom) Palmer; his grandchildren, Danielle and Alex Dobeleit, Ryan Smith, Morgan and Andrea Palmer; family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street in Centerville. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home with a Scottish Rite service at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 3315 Martel Dr., Dayton, OH 45420 or the Antioch Shrine Foundation, 107 E. First St., Dayton, OH 45402.
