Robert Ronald Beard

BEARD, Robert R., age 84, of Miamisburg, formerly of Kettering, died on Saturday, September 3, 2005, at Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg, Ohio. Born in Dayton, to Alfred and Edith Beard, who preceded him in death as did his wife, Elizabeth in 1986. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kettering and was retired from NCR as a tool and die craftsman. Robert is survived by sisters-in-law, Susan Miars, of Wilmington, OH; and Mary Ellen Sommers, of Toledo. Robert served in the US Army during WWII as a Sergeant. Graveside funeral services will be held at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr. Dayton at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2005.
