Robert W Barnhart

BARNHART, Robert W., age 85, of Centerville, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011. Robert served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He received a degree in education from Ohio State University and retired after 30 yrs of service from Ohio Bell. Robert was past president of the Middletown Optimist and past member of the Middletown Jaycees. He attended regularly at Hope United Methodist Church. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 yrs., Winona Barnhart; daughter Cheryl K. (Thomas) Nelson; grandson Nathan W. Nelson; brother, Theron "Barney" (Pat) Barnhart; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:30AM at Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459. Family will greet friends following the service at the church.
