Robert W. Neef

NEEF, Robert W. “Bob”, age 78, of Dayton passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Heartland of Centerville. Bob was a 1944 graduate of Patterson Co-op High School (formerly known as Parker Co-op). He served in the United States Army during WWII and retired from Frigidaire/Harrison Radiator after 43 years of service. Bob was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Dayton Lodge #147. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Gertrude B. Neef. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Katherine (Katie) Neef; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas C. and Jeannette “Jan” Neef; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ty Tyson; six grandchildren; Jason and Jessica Neef and Sarah, Melinda “Mindy”, Anna and Alex Tyson; sister, Phyllis Travis of Kettering, OH; sisters-in-law, Mary and Charles Cowman of Hillsboro, OH and Irene and Fred Bashore of Troy, OH; and longtime friends, Joseph and Barbara Morris, Richard and Doris Morris, Richard and Audrey Stoltz, and Harold and Clara Ochs. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Todd Grant Yonkman officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
