Robert W. Reid

REID, Robert “Bob” W., age 91 of Kettering passed away Monday December 19, 2005 at Liberty Retirement Community. Bob attended Oakwood City Schools and Culver Military Academy. He was the former owner of four Goody Goody Restaurants located in Tampa, FL, Santa Monica, CA, and Dayton, OH on Third Street and Salem Avenue, and was a former member of the Kettering Rotary Club. At the time of his death, Bob was survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary, who then died eight days later on December 27, 2005. Bob is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was loved and will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, January 6, 2006 at Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave., Oakwood with Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Bob and Mary’s family will greet friends from 10:00AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. They will be buried at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
