Robert William Westbeld

WESTBELD, Robert W. "Bob", age 87, of Kettering passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at home. Bob served his country during WWII in the Navy and retired from WPAFB where he was an electronic engineer. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family while sitting around a campfire. Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Edna Westbeld, brother, Clarence Westbeld, and daughter, Peggy Westbeld. Bob is survived by his loving wife Millie, of 57 years; daughters, Kathy (Bryan) Kucsmus, Robbie (Pat) Lawler, and Gina (Mark) Talbott; son, Bob (Angie) Westbeld, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; sister, Sheila (Ernie) Reser, and sister-in-law Thelma Westbeld. Family will greet friends from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Ascension Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ascension Church.
