Roberta Moore Burnap "Bobbie", age 92, of Kettering Ohio, passed away in hospice care on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Roberta was born in Greensboro, NC on December 16, 1932. She graduated from Findlay High School when her family moved to Ohio. She earned a degree in English from Bowling Green State University and taught third grade. Roberta’s life changed forever when she met and married her husband David at BGSU. They spent time in England where David was stationed in the Air Force, eventually settling back in Ohio where they raised their family in Centerville.

Roberta enjoyed playing tennis with friends and was a true artist who loved painting, landscaping and decorating. She and David traveled extensively over their 53 year marriage and in later years spent time enjoying their second home, a beautiful farm property in Morrow, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Judson Moore, brother, Robert Moore, and husband, David K. Burnap.

Roberta is survived by her sister Kathryn Powell, and children: Mary (Richard) VanderKaay, Amy (Tom) Brereton, Sarah (Bob) Bahner and David (Krista) Burnap. Her greatest joy was her family which has grown to include 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as beloved sons and daughters in law, nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family burial in David’s Cemetery on Friday, May 2, 2025.
