Ronald Dean Jones

JONES, Ronald Dean "Ron", age 64, formerly of Kettering passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Ron graduated Fairmont East High School in Kettering in 1965. He worked for the City of Kettering for 31 years and was a Volunteer Firefighter for 35 years where he retired from both in 2002. Ron was a member of the Masonic Lodge 32nd Mason and Memorial Church of Christ. He enjoyed making beautiful works of art out of carved wood. Preceded in death by his son, Rodney Dean; brother, James Richard; and his mother, Doris Grimm (Dill). He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen Jones (Grimm); two sons, Gregory and his wife Amy, and Jason and his wife Nicole; seven grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with 4 great grandbabies on the way; brother, Kenneth (Tommie) Jones; step-brother, Bob (Janet) Grimm; and many nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville with a Masonic Service performed by the Millennium Lodge #779 at 4:30pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery in Tipp City, OH. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229.
