PALMER, Ronald E., 84, of Washington Township, passed away Saturday, August 13th, surrounded by his family. He was born May 23rd, 1932 to Robert & Opal (Shock) Palmer, who preceded him in death. Ron was a pharmacist for many years at Philhower Drugs in Miamisburg. Later at Revco, Super-X and retiring in 2000 with CVS.
He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1950 and Ohio Northern University, ADA, Ohio in 1954. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Ron met his wife, Wanda at Ohio Northern University. They married August 23, 1953. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Dr. Greg (Michele) Palmer and Jeff Palmer, Grandsons Michael (Caroline) Palmer and Robert Palmer. Ron served as a medic in the U.S. Army for two years, at Fort Knox, KY and in the Hospital Pharmacy at La Chapell, France.
Visitation to be held from 11-1pm with a service at 1pm Friday, August 19, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, Centerville, 81 North Main Street, with entombment at David's Mausoleum.
