Rose Elizabeth Flaugher

FLAUGHER, Rose Elizabeth, age 85, of Centerville, formerly of Wilmington, OH passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011. Rose was a 1947 graduate of Good Samaritan School of Nursing where she went on to be a Registered Nurse. During her career she worked for Howard E. McKnight for 25 years. Rose was a member of Church of the Incarnation. She loved life and spending it with her caring family. Rose enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and taking cruises to various different destinations. She enjoyed parties and collecting hummels. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Bruce Flaugher; sister, Leone Chillinsky; and nephew, David Chillinsky. Rose is survived by sisters, Judy Stewart and Rowena (Jim) Stanfield; nieces and nephews, Jeff (Vicky) Stewart, Gayle Stanfield, Tom (Molly) Chillinsky, Mark (Connie) Chillinsky, Michael (Dana) Chillinsky, Dan (Linda) Chillinsky, and Chris Chillinsky; and great nieces and nephews, Hanna, Logan, Emily, Joe, Kiel, Scott, Riley, Dayton, Dakota, Dallas, Clair, Hunter, Cohen, Jack, Megan, Anne, and Katie. Family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH 45459. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington, OH. The family would like to send a special thank you to all of Rose's beloved friends.
