Rosemary J. Baty

BATY, Rosemary J., age 95, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Rosemary was born to the late Albert E. and Ina (Farris) Jolley on February 4, 1922 in Cedarville, OH. She graduated from Patterson Co-Op and was an active member of Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church where she was involved musically. Rosemary enjoyed cooking, sewing and tending to her beloved family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil and brother, John Jolley. Rosemary was survived by her sons, Robert J. Baty and Stephen V. Baty; grandchildren, Jill Taura, Robert D. Baty and Laura L. Ort; great-grandchildren, Joshua Collins and Brandon (Samantha) Ort; nephew, Jack (Sue) Jolley and niece, Debra (Gary) Brewer. The family will greet friends from 2:30pm to 3:30pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will follow at 3:30pm at the church. Burial at Woodland cemetery. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Hospice of Heartland for all the wonderful care they gave to Rosemary.
