Roy Stephen Serruto

SERRUTO, Roy Sr., age 62, of Washington Township, passed away on June 18, 2014 from a long battle with cancer. Roy was born on June 23, 1951. He earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland in Political Science. Roy worked at Standard Register for 38 years where he was the only person to be the President of the 100 Plus Club twice, and retired as an executive in senior management. He was a member of Sycamore Creek Country Club and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Roy is preceded in death by his loving wife Diane (Ward) Serruto and his brother Paul Serruto. He is survived by his 3 sons, Roy (Victoria) Serruto Jr of Columbus, OH, Brad Serruto of Raleigh, NC and Drew Serruto of Columbus, OH; parents, Roy and Doris Serruto; brothers, John Serruto, Mark (Ellen) Serruto, Roger (Eva) Serruto; and his sisters, Rose (Geoffrey) Twombly and Doris Thomas and many nephews and nieces all of Short Hills, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Livingston, NJ in addition to a private Mass of Christian burial in Short Hills, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton OH 45420.
