Ruby Mae Reitz

REITZ, Ruby M., age 95, of Dayton, passed away on February 24, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Village. Ruby was born on June 24, 1921 in Wilmington, OH to the late Ernest Setty and Orba Burton Setty. She was a member of WAG's, NCR Camper Club, and OES #55. Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard E. Reitz; and son, Kenneth W. Reitz. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Carl) Goubeaux; daughter-in-law, Judy Reitz; grandson, Doug (Carolyn) Reitz; granddaughters, Trina M. (Tammy Butler) Kolvek and Linda M. Goubeaux; great-grandchildren, Stephen Reitz, C.J. (Bailey Heggs) Kolvek, Aaron Kolvek, Lauren (Travis) Hellmund; also are her adopted son, Manuel (Liz) Martinez; grandson, Luis (Jennifer) Martinez; granddaughter, Maria (Michael) Fuhrman; and great-grandchildren, Erin and Kyle Martinez & Connor, Ethan, and Davis Fuhrman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 Smithville Rd. Dayton, with a visitation one hour before the service at the church. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Bethany (Cherry Park) for their commitment, love and care of Ruby toward her last journey. We will all miss her loving smile.
