PAQUIN, Russel Warren, age 85, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Born in Muskegon, MI, Russel enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1941. He served his country for 4 years, surviving the sinking of his ship the USS Brownson, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. After the war, he attended Whittier College in Whittier, CA, before joining NCR Corp. in Muskegon. He worked 32 years as sales manager at NCR in Muskegon, MI, Lima, OH, Charleston, WV, Flint, MI and provided corporate education in Dayton, OH. He was a patient and natural educator and valued a job well done. Always ready with a hug, he was a loving man devoted to his wife, family, home and church. He is preceded in death by his parents Warren and Irene Paquin; sisters Helen Dahlstrom, Marian Marquis; brothers Jack and Dan Paquin. Russel is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Glenna Paquin; daughters Deborah (William) Sellers and Kristine (Dwight) Montgomery; grandchildren Ethan (Lillie) Sellers, Alyssa Sellers, Adam and Sean Montgomery; and brothers Harvey (Nancy), William (Judy) and Jerry (Darlene) Paquin. A memorial service will he held Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11: 00 AM at Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 E. Franklin Street, Centerville, OH. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Muskegon, MI. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420, or Centerville United Methodist Church.
